New Beginnings at Circle T Ranch is a non-profit organization formed to benefit victims of trauma, crime, stress, psychological conditions, and disabilities. We conduct Equine Assisted Learning Activities at Circle T Ranch.
What is Equine Assisted Learning?
Calm, peaceful activities incorporating horses as facilitators for healing, stress relief and understanding, often leading to improved mental and physical health, and development of life skills including communication, compassion, empathy, teamwork and trust.
Other Activities
Activities on the ranch can include friendly, soothing interactions with a number of other animals including dogs, cats, miniature donkey, ponies, goats, and sheep. All activities are designed to give participants an uplifting experience to carry with them for the rest of the week.
Donations enable us to provide services to needy survivors not supported by government programs to include local veterans and active duty personnel.
Volunteers help support the healing of the 80+ participants who visit us each week. The peaceful environment is a great place to unwind while actively helping our community! We encourage you to contact us today to sign up for our volunteer program.
Quote from Stacey Jones
“Denise Taylor does amazing work. Circle T Ranch is a beautiful, calming place to help ease the stress of life. Her therapeutic approach helped my mom who had dementia/Alzheimer’s, to connect with the animals which provided a sense of calm on hard days. New Beginnings at Circle T Ranch is truly a phenomenal resource for our community.”
From the mother of a participant:
''You have no idea the appreciation and love we have for you and everything you do. We have never had any therapy that worked and we have tried many. My son is so peaceful in your activities. His energy is entirely different there and his soul seems to have peace and when we come home he is so calm and happy. We are beyond grateful and thankful for you and the horses.''
